Omnivision OAX7700 vision AI ASIC enables always-on vehicle security

Omnivision has launched the OAX7700, an ultra-low-power vision AI companion ASIC with an integrated NPU for vehicle security systems. It supports camera resolutions up to 720p, records up to 10 seconds of pre-roll video, and cuts power consumption of parking surveillance systems by 97%. Samples are available now, with production set for Q1 2027.
