Samsung LPDDR6 Passes Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 Validation

Samsung has completed the industry's first LPDDR6 validation on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 platform, announced at Snapdragon Summit 2026. Its 16 GB LPDDR6 delivers 114 GB/s — 37% more than LPDDR5X — with a 21% efficiency gain, clearing the path for 2027 Android flagships.
