Linux Foundation: 62% of OpenSearch users run AI workloads on it

Linux Foundation Research and the OpenSearch Software Foundation released the 2026 Open Data Infrastructure Report based on a survey of 294 respondents. 62% of current OpenSearch users already run AI workloads on it, 44% treat it as core AI infrastructure, and awareness rose to 89% from 68% two years earlier.
