JetBrains unveils Air, an open platform for agentic development

JetBrains has officially launched JetBrains Air, an open system of products for agentic software development that works inside and beyond its IDEs. The platform bundles in-IDE agents, team coordination via Air Teams, and enterprise governance via Air Governance, formerly JetBrains Central.

• Air combines in-IDE agents, Air Teams and Air Governance
• Supports Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Junie
• Air Teams and Air Governance remain in early access
• A mobile version for monitoring agents is planned
