Homey's Device Updates Feature Brings Matter Firmware Updates to Its App

Homey released Device Updates: firmware for Matter, Z-Wave, and Zigbee devices updates directly from the Homey mobile or web app without manufacturer apps. For Matter, updates come from the Connectivity Standards Alliance's DCL registry. Supported brands include IKEA, Aeotec, INNR, Inovelli, Zooz, and others.

• Updates available in 'More > Settings > Device Updates' and device settings
• For Matter, Homey checks DCL registry and installs firmware via standard OTA
• Requires Homey Mobile App version 13.2.0 or newer
• Eve devices now work with Homey via Matter and Thread
