Webb captures young stars in the NGC 7129 stellar nursery
The James Webb Space Telescope has released an infrared image of NGC 7129, a stellar nursery about 3,300 light-years away in Cepheus. Astronomers identified over 130 stars less than 1 million years old, including the central pre-main-sequence star LkH(alpha) 234 at 5–8 solar masses.
