Kioxia unveils PCIe 6.0 GP1 SSD with over 20M IOPS

Kioxia has shown an upgraded GP-series SSD on PCIe 6.0 that exceeds 20 million random-read IOPS on 512-byte blocks, roughly doubling the GP1 launched in August 2026. The gain comes from third-gen XL-FLASH, which triples read speed and lifts write speed by about 150%. Kioxia also exhibited the LD4 QLC drive in 15.36 TB and 30.72 TB capacities.
