Intel GPU D-Series Packs 480GB LPDDR5X and 1.3 PFLOPS FP8 into a 350W PCIe Card
At OCP Global Summit Intel named Crescent Island the GPU D-series, built on Xe3P. Partner cards pair up to 480GB of LPDDR5X at 1.5TB/s with 1.3 petaflops of FP8 compute in a 350W air-cooled PCIe card; Intel's own card carries 160GB. Sampling with server OEMs, ODMs and neoclouds is underway.
- Partner D-series cards: up to 480GB LPDDR5X, 1.5TB/s, 1.3 PFLOPS FP8
- Intel-branded card: 160GB; 350W air-cooled PCIe form factor
- One card hosts models up to ~300B parameters; 8-GPU host scales past 1T
- 32 Xe cores and 256 XMX engines on Xe3P, LPDDR5X instead of HBM
