Huawei unveils Atlas 960E SuperPoD: 4,096 NPUs, 8 EFLOPS FP8

At HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 in Shanghai, Huawei launched the Atlas 960E SuperPoD, its first SuperPoD built on near-package optics (NPO) with the Hi-ONE optical engine. It scales to 4,096 NPUs and delivers 8 EFLOPS at FP8 and 16 EFLOPS at FP4 for models around 10 trillion parameters.
