KIOXIA CM9-DLC adds direct liquid cooling to dual-port E3.S SSDs up to 30.72TB

KIOXIA America announced the CM9-DLC, direct liquid cooling versions of its PCIe 5.0 CM9 enterprise SSDs in the E3.S form factor. Capacities reach 30.72TB in the 1 DWPD read-intensive model and 25.6TB in the 3 DWPD mixed-use model, aimed at AI servers using SSDs for context caching. The drives will be shown at OCP Global Summit 2026; pricing and availability were not announced.

• Dual-port E3.S form factor with PCIe 5.0 and NVMe 2.0
• Up to 30.72TB (1 DWPD) and 25.6TB (3 DWPD)
• Sequential read up to 14,800MB/s, random read up to 3.4M IOPS
• Also runs in air-cooled servers; follows SFF-TA-1008 rev. 3.0a
