Retailers without digital wallets are losing Gen Z shoppers
A PYMNTS Intelligence study found that 36 percent of Gen Z shoppers abandoned a cart in the past 30 days because their preferred payment method wasn't accepted — 1.7 times the overall average. Together with millennials (31 percent), that's 40 million abandoned purchases in a single month. Gen Z spending power is projected to reach $12 trillion by 2030.
