UPI processes 24.07 Bn transactions in September, volume down 1.8% M-o-M

UPI processed 24.07 billion transactions worth Rs 29.37 lakh crore in September 2026, according to NPCI data. Volume fell 1.8% from the record 24.51 billion in August due to fewer days in the month. Daily average rose 1.4% to 802 million transactions, while year-on-year volume grew 23%.
