Holtec files safety report for 680 MW twin SMR project in Michigan
Holtec International has submitted its Preliminary Safety Analysis Report to the NRC, completing the final filing phase of its two-part construction permit application for two SMR-300 reactors at the Palisades campus in Michigan. The Pioneer 1 and Pioneer 2 units would supply 680 MW of low-carbon power, with early ground work already underway.
