Toyota opens $50M Michigan battery center for EVs and hybrids
Toyota has opened a nearly $50 million battery research center in Saline, Michigan, spanning 30,000 square feet. It will test and develop batteries for electric, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and hydrogen vehicles and support Toyota's North American manufacturing.
