Next-Generation Toyota Corolla Could Arrive in 2027 With Plug-In Hybrid Power

Analysts expect the next-generation Corolla to debut in 2027 as a 2028 model. The redesigned TNGA-C platform will support gas, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery-electric versions, with the hybrid using a 1.5-liter engine rated at 134 hp combined and 10-20% better fuel economy.
