Schneider and SQC test quantum chip that boosts home energy forecasts
Silicon Quantum Computing and Schneider Electric tested the Watermelon quantum chip, improving household energy forecasting accuracy by an average of 20% and up to 41%. The project with UNSW Sydney won A$3.6 million (US$2.5 million) from the Australian government and moves to a second stage covering hundreds of homes.
