Schneider says hotter coolant can halve AI datacenter water use

Schneider Electric published a white paper comparing four modeled 100 MW datacenter designs. Moving from air to liquid cooling with coolant supplied at 45°C cuts water consumption by at least 50%, while cooling towers can use 5 to 20 times more water than dry coolers.
