Schneider Electric debuts WCDU for hybrid air and liquid cooling

Schneider Electric has launched the WCDU, a coolant distribution unit in its Motivair range for hybrid air and liquid-cooled AI data centers. A single unit delivers up to 3.5MW at 1.5 liters per minute per kW, and up to 20 units can operate as a coordinated system. Shipping begins in selected regions next month, with US pre-orders in early 2027.
