Schneider Electric launches Motivair WCDU coolant distribution unit up to 3.5MW

Schneider Electric has launched the Motivair WCDU, a coolant distribution unit for AI data centers. A single unit delivers up to 3.5MW at 1.5 liters per minute per kW, supports hybrid air and liquid cooling, and handles approach temperatures as low as 2°C. Shipping begins in select regions in October 2026, with US pre-orders starting in early 2027.

• Up to 20 units can run in group mode for 30-40MW data halls
• Supports approach temperatures as low as 2°C to improve PUE and cut OpEx
