Sharpa unveils D01 tactile robot, W02 dexterous hand and AE01 haptic glove at IROS 2026

Sharpa, the robotics company founded by three Hesai co-founders, showed three products at IROS 2026 in Pittsburgh: the D01 humanoid with full-body electronic skin, the compact W02 dexterous hand with tactile sensing, and the AE01 exoskeleton glove for teleoperation and data capture. D01 reaches end-effector speeds above 10.5 m/s with 0.2 mm repeatability, W02 packs 21 degrees of freedom into under 750 grams, and AE01 uses 22 encoders with 256 levels of vibrotactile feedback per fingertip.

• At its booth D01 caught a falling baton and mixed drinks while teleoperated via AE01
