SubCo plans three Indo-Pacific subsea cables spanning 40,000km

Australian firm SubCo announced three new subsea cable projects totaling over 40,000km: APX North (9,500km, Sydney to Japan via Guam), APX East-2 (10,000km, Guam to Los Angeles), and APX West (4,600km, Perth to Singapore with branches to Jakarta and Batam). All three systems will carry 24 fiber pairs and go live in 2029.

• APX North: 9,500km linking Sydney to Japan via Guam with switched branching units
• APX East-2: 10,000km connecting Guam to Los Angeles
• APX West: 4,600km from Perth to Singapore with branches to Jakarta and Batam
