Orange to test Nokia AI-RAN in live network; SUBCO plans 40,000 km cable

Orange will test Nokia's AI-RAN platform in its live network, moving beyond lab trials. Australian operator SUBCO plans to lay about 40,000 km of subsea cable across three transpacific systems, opening in 2029. iPhone 18 Pro and Duo become the first iPhones to support private LTE in Anterix's Band 106 spectrum.
