FCC bans imports of most mobile robots in the US from 2028

The FCC has banned US sales of almost all new foreign-made mobile robots starting January 1, 2028, with exceptions for systems under 2 kg and those communicating below 200 kbps. China makes about 70% of the world's mobile robots and 97% of humanoids in H1, pushing US firms toward domestic suppliers and 3D printing.
