Analyst calls for AMD 'treason' probe over restricted RFSoCs in China

SemiAnalysis head Dylan Patel found that China-based Puzhi Electronic is crowdfunding a system built on AMD's export-controlled Zynq UltraScale+ XCZU47DR RFSoC and called for a treason investigation into AMD. AMD denies direct sales or shipments into the restricted region, says it investigates suspected diversion and will report violations to authorities.
