LG launches centrifugal air cooling system for AI data centers

LG has launched an oil-free centrifugal chiller with magnetic bearings for AI data center cooling. The system uses no refrigerant or glycol, consumes up to 30% less energy than traditional liquid-based free cooling, and is available in 480 to 600 refrigeration tons per unit.
