RustFS 1.0 S3-Compatible Object Storage Reaches GA

The first production release of RustFS 1.0 is out — a distributed object storage written in Rust under the Apache 2.0 license with an S3-compatible API. The project is positioned as an open alternative to MinIO, which discontinued support for its open-source version.

• Features erasure coding, multipart upload, tiering, and S3 Tables with Iceberg

• RustFS 2.0 promised to expand for AI infrastructure and S3 Vectors
