Gmail adds 'Copy code' shortcut for 2FA on Android & iOS
Gmail has added a 'Copy code' button for two-factor authentication on Android and iOS. The code shortcut appears under the subject line in the inbox, allowing users to copy the code without opening the email. The feature is available in version 2026.09.07.x on Android and 6.0.260907 on iOS, but not on the web.
