ST launches combo motion sensor ICs for vehicle dynamics

STMicroelectronics has introduced an automotive sensor platform combining multi-axis accelerometers and angular-rate sensors in a single package. The first four products — NCS1012BAEP, NCS1012CAEP, NCS1012EAEP and NCS10135AEP — are now in production in 24-pin QFN packages. The sensors support SafeSPI and internal diagnostics.

• Angular-rate sensors offer ±125, ±250 and ±350 dps ranges
• Low-g accelerometers span ±1.50 g to ±34 g; medium-g up to ±150 g
• Operating range −40°C to +105°C with 12.5–400 Hz filtering
• First products following integration of NXP's sensors division
