BYD's second-gen Seagull starts at $9,900 with high-speed tire blowout system

BYD launched the second-generation Seagull, its cheapest EV in China, priced from 65,900 yuan ($9,900). The hatchback is larger, seats five, and comes standard with a system that keeps it stable during a tire blowout at up to 140 km/h.
