BYD opens pre-orders for new Seagull, a larger version of its $10K EV

BYD has opened blind pre-orders for the second-generation Seagull in six exterior colors. The new model is 425 mm longer (4205 mm) with a 2650 mm wheelbase, a 95 kW motor replacing the 55 kW unit, and rear-wheel drive. Launch is expected by the end of 2026, with prices yet to be announced.
