BYD Seagull: $10k EV hatch with 5-minute 10–70% flash charging

BYD launched the new Seagull in five trims priced from 65,900 to 99,900 yuan (about $9,810–15,000). The top three versions get a 39.2-kWh battery, 420 km CLTC range and flash charging from 10% to 70% in a claimed five minutes at BYD's dedicated stations.
