YMTC to Start Mass Production of LPDDR5X at 9,600 MT/s

YMTC, known mainly as a NAND Flash maker, is preparing volume production of LPDDR5X DRAM at 9,600 MT/s at its Fab 3. Since October 2025 it has been producing about 5,000 wafers per month of 16 Gb LPDDR5X at 7,500 MT/s at Fab 2.

• YMTC has produced about 5,000 wafers of 16 Gb LPDDR5X per month since October 2025
• Current Fab 2 memory speed is 7,500 MT/s
• Volume production at Fab 3 will use VCT 4F² cell structure
• Xtacking 4.0 relies on hybrid bonding wafer-to-wafer stacking
