HD Hyundai and Kiewit to build smart shipyard in the US

HD Hyundai and US construction firm Kiewit have formed the HD Kiewit Shipbuilding joint venture to build a new shipyard in the US. Construction starts in 2027 with operations from 2029, using digital twins, robotic welding and automation; about 3,000 jobs are expected.
