HD Hyundai to unveil humanoid robot for shipyard automation

HD Hyundai plans to build its 'Future of Shipyard' by 2030 using digital twins, AI and humanoid robots for dangerous tasks like welding and painting. The first in-house humanoid prototype debuts at FIX 2026 in Daegu on Oct 21-24, targeting 30% higher productivity and 30% shorter build times.
