HD Hyundai reshuffles top executives to push shipbuilding, AI and SMR

HD Hyundai announced its 2026 executive reshuffle on Oct. 7, naming Vice Chairman Lee Sang-gyun to oversee group shipbuilding and promoting Cho Min-soo to co-CEO for safety. The group is accelerating AI data center power infrastructure and SMRs, with 1.58 trillion won in U.S. data center equipment orders and a 238.6 billion won SMR component plant.
