Microsoft quietly tests Project Pantheon, a selective Recall for Windows 11
Microsoft is quietly testing a Windows 11 AI app codenamed Project Pantheon, a version of Recall that saves only content the user chooses. It stores web pages, files, screenshots, text, audio and video as "memories" and can share that context with Claude and Cursor via an MCP server.
- Saves content manually instead of capturing the screen like Recall
- Shares context with Claude and Cursor through an MCP server
- Uses cloud AI models and does not require an NPU
- Microsoft has not announced the app or committed to releasing it
