Microsoft quietly tests "Project Odeon" Settings app in the Microsoft Store
Microsoft is testing a Microsoft Store app codenamed Project Odeon that mimics the Windows 11 Settings app and requires build 26100 or newer. It runs alongside the built-in Settings and hides a preview mode with a dummy account; Microsoft has not announced it.
- The Microsoft.ProjectOdeon package, version 1.0.9.0, is listed under Microsoft Corporation in Productivity with a Preview label
- Odeon requires Windows 11 build 26100+ and Developer Mode, and runs side by side with the built-in Settings app
- A hidden –preview mode shows a dummy account, six wallpapers and "Preview 8-core processor" data with 32 GB of RAM
- Helper files such as AccountManagementHelper, RenamePcHelper and TimeZoneHelper point to tasks needing elevated rights
