Proton crowns Brave the most secure browser of 2026

Proton compared Brave, Firefox, LibreWolf, Vivaldi and Zen on big tech dependencies, fingerprinting protection and everyday usability. Brave scored 23 out of 30, edging out LibreWolf (22), Firefox and Zen (21 each) and Vivaldi (14).
