Firefox 158 adds AI form filling, JPEG XL and fixes 77 security flaws

Mozilla released Firefox 158 for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android with the Smart Windows AI form-filling feature, full JPEG XL support and PDF improvements. The update patches 77 vulnerabilities, 30 of them high risk, including 24 use-after-free flaws and 8 sandbox escapes.

• JPEG XL moves out of Firefox Labs to all users
• Firefox ESR 153.5.0 gets 61 fixes; ESR 115 supported until March 2027
