Mozilla's Ajit Varma on Firefox 157, AI model choice and Anthropic's code audit

Firefox 157 shipped on 29 September with Project Nova, its biggest redesign since 2021, restoring Compact Mode. Mozilla is pushing enterprise security, built-in AI model choice (three in the US, Mistral Small 4 in Europe) and open source: Anthropic found 22 vulnerabilities for Firefox 148 and 271 more for Firefox 150 via GitHub.
