Adobe adds AI Open Eyes feature to Lightroom Mobile
Adobe launched Open Eyes in Lightroom for mobile: generative AI opens closed eyes in photos, matching eye shape, color and size using other images of the person in the user's library. It works on individual and group shots and edits only the eye area. The free version allows two uses before requiring a subscription.
- Open Eyes is in Lightroom Mobile's Quick Actions, not on desktop
- The AI pulls eye data from other photos of the person in the library
- Free users get two uses, then need an AI or Creative Cloud plan
- A test showed the UI referencing Google's Nano Banana model
