ArtCraft releases vibe-coded open-source clones of Adobe Creative Suite in Rust

A group of developers under the ArtCraft banner has published open-source "clean-room reimplementations" of Adobe apps on GitHub, including PhotoCraft (Photoshop), LightCraft (Lightroom), FilmCraft (Premiere Pro), VectorCraft (Illustrator), PDFCraft (Acrobat) and EffectCraft (After Effects). The Rust-based tools were built using prompts to Claude Opus, are free to use, but lack feature parity and may face legal challenges from Adobe over interface similarities.
