Microsoft fixes missing Copilot buttons in classic Outlook

Microsoft has resolved a known issue that removed the Copilot Chat and Copilot buttons from classic Outlook for some Windows users. The bug prevented Outlook from retrieving account information from the user's profile; a workaround is enabling the "Show Apps in Outlook" option.

• Copilot buttons disappeared from the navigation pane and above the ribbon in classic Outlook
• Microsoft blamed a failure to retrieve account data from the Outlook profile
• Temporary workaround is enabling "Show Apps in Outlook" in settings
• Outlook on the web and the new Outlook client were not affected
