PAX brings Wink face and palm biometric checkout to its terminals

PAX Technology integrated Wink's face and palm recognition into its retail interface software, letting merchants customize biometric enrollment and checkout screens via PxRetailer and PxDesigner. The software works on all camera-equipped PAX terminals, including the A360, A380 and A920Pro, with encrypted biometric templates.

• Wink biometrics supported on all camera-equipped PAX terminals: A360, A380, A920Pro
• Enrollment happens via merchant website or app and links to an account with a payment token
• Wink runs liveness detection and matches the capture; payment still goes through the merchant's acquirer
• The integration will be shown at PAXCON 2026 and NRF 2027
