Tesla batteries double Texas site's storage capacity to 300 MW

Nightpeak Energy has started commercial operation of Bocanova 2, a 150 MW battery storage project in Brazoria County, Texas, using Tesla Megapack 2 XL systems. The site's total capacity now reaches 300 MW with 300 MWh of storage at a two-hour duration. MUFG Bank and U.S. Bank provided financing.
