Bangladesh weighs Securiport biometric border modernization plan
Bangladesh's Ministry of Home Affairs has asked Securiport to submit a full technical and financial proposal by October 22. The system would combine APIS, PNR, e-visas and biometric verification with Interpol integration; the project is valued at Tk1,800 crore (about $146 million) for 2026–2031.
