Ubuntu Confirms DDoS Attack on Its Web Infrastructure

On Thursday Ubuntu's website, ISO downloads and related resources were knocked offline by a distributed denial of service attack. The Ubuntu.com outage lasted 2 hours 27 minutes, and the company says most services have been restored and all components are operational.
