Rivian Rolls Out Ghostbusters Halloween Mode for R1 and R2

Rivian began a free software update on October 9, running through November 2, that turns R1 and R2 EVs into Ghostbusters props in a Sony Pictures collaboration. The in-car app offers six themed light-and-sound packs, a scavenger hunt and the Mallow Mash arcade game, plus a short film starring Bill Murray.

• Six theme packs: Ecto-1, Proton Pack, Slimer, Ghost Trap, Venkman, Random
• Mallow Mash arcade game works only in Park
• Ecto-R1 will appear in six US cities, including New York and Austin
