Microsoft cuts free OneDrive storage for Microsoft 365 subscribers

Microsoft quietly announced a reduction in OneDrive storage bundled with Microsoft 365 subscriptions. Family and Premium plans now offer 2TB shared across members instead of 1TB per user, while Pro gets 5TB shared. The change takes effect after the first renewal on or after May 2, 2027.
