Trump administration suspends Microsoft, Adobe and six IT firms from PERM green-card programme
The Trump administration has temporarily barred Microsoft, Adobe, Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL and Capgemini from the PERM programme for permanent foreign hires. JD Vance said Microsoft laid off 6,000 Americans while receiving 6,300 H-1B visas and nearly 3,000 green cards; India's foreign ministry called his remarks deeply offensive.
